 2025 Second Annual Southern California Peace Corps Jamboree in Lake Arrowhead hosted by the OC Peace Corps Association (OCPCA)
Connecting with nature and friends to create good times, laughter, and share our stories is the purpose of our Summer Jamboree! All Southern California RPCVs from Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego and Riverside Counties are invited to connect and explore our local San Bernardino Mountains and have a refreshing dip or cruise around beautiful Lake Arrowhead.

Saturday at 8:00 AM
Near the volleyball court by Lake Arrowhead Brewery
Look for the large Peace Corps sign

Upon registration, you’ll receive your official orange 2nd Annual RPCV Jamboree Wristband and sign a liability waiver. The wristband is required to participate in all activities.


🏞 Activities (Wristband Required)

Please RSVP via Evite with your preferred activities. Activities begin after registration and include:

  • Morning Wellness Walk – Heaps Peak Arboretum (1.5 hrs)

  • North Lake Trail Hike (Easy – 2 hrs)

  • South Lake Trail Hike (Easy – 1.5 hrs)

  • Will Abell Hike (Moderate – 1.5 hrs)

  • Swim Challenge – Around Lone Pine Island

  • Swim Challenge – Burnt Mill Beach to Dock

  • Day & Evening Kayaking (2 at a time; advance registration required)

  • Scavenger Hunt

  • RPCV Affiliate Yard Game Competition – Volleyball, Cornhole

  • Arrowhead Queen Lake Tours – Hourly from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM ($30–$33)

  • OCPCA will provide non-alcoholic refreshments and healthy snacks during daytime activities.

  • Limited parking at Brewery and Burnt Mill Beach Club (spaces marked “ALA only” but not enforced)

  • Clothing appropriate for activities & weather

  • Towel

  • Beach chair

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Water shoes

  • Food/drinks or money to purchase meals

  • A great Peace Corps story to share!

We recommend RPCVs coordinate to rent Airbnb-style places near Lake Arrowhead Village for walkable access to activities.
